Sports Guard

These protect your teeth from sports-related injuries. Wearing a sports guard during contact sports and athletic activities can help you avoid:

  • Chipped teeth.

  • Knocked-out teeth.

  • Damage to your tooth pulp.

  • Soft-tissue injury to your gums, lips and inner cheeks.

These appliances help protect your teeth from the effects of grinding and clenching. This can also place your jaw in a more favorable position to reduce TMJ muscle strain. You can wear this type of mouth guard any time, night or day. But because most people grind or clench their teeth during sleep, it’s common to wear them at night - referred as  'night guards'

Snoring and Sleep Apnea Appliance

People with chronic snoring or obstructive sleep apnea may benefit from a custom fitted snoring appliance. This type of appliance shifts and repositions your jaw to open your airway during sleep. This appliance is prescribed by your physician after a sleep study analysis id done.

A teeth retainer is a custom-made device you wear in your mouth over your teeth. It helps keep your teeth in their new, correct position after braces. Once the braces come off, nothing is keeping your teeth from moving back to their previous position. Think of it this way: Braces straighten your teeth, but your retainer keeps them that way. They help your teeth “retain” their position.
